Whirlpool is looking for Junior IT Analyst to support the business and work as strategic part of Global Information Systems



As GIS Junior Analyst you will be a team member of the projects delivering team, involved in the new processes and supporting existing IT capabilities to the supply chain business. You will have the opportunity to work on project related tasks and on support requests coming from the Supply Chain team.

You will mainly support the central supply chain team and the factory supply chain team (OTD team) in our manufacturing facilities and for demand management the market OTDs in each market. The process scope will range from demand forecasting to supply chain planning and inventory analysis. You main mission will be to Deliver Supply Chain management IT capabilities through new project delivery and continuous improvement of existing IT capabilities for Supply Chain Management. You will be important link between the business and the IT. This is also a unique chance to gain the expertise in IT, logistics, finance and proving yourself in various tasks in international business environment.

Scope of responsibilities:

• IT Support of the systems used by European factories

• Cooperating with business and technology partners to identify and analyze business requirements and converting them into technical specification

• Design, analysis, preparing documentation (both technical and user manuals) and test of integrated IT solutions

• Participate to project initiatives delivering IT capabilities across Europe


Our requirements:

• Master degree of economics or science

• Interest in information technology and solutions

• Ability to design information systems

• Knowledge of databases and T-SQL

• Knowledge of SAP system (ERP or other) will be additional advantage

• English language at good level

• Italian language will be additional advantage

• Very good knowledge of MS Office

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work in the team in international environment

• Strong negotiation skills
